UP Weather Update: The scorching heat continues to wreak havoc in Uttar Pradesh. The temperature in Banda has reached 44.4°C. Know the latest update of the Meteorological Department, the reason for increasing heat and when will you get relief.
In Uttar Pradesh, summer has now become not just a season but a problem. As soon as the morning dawns, the sun is showing such an attitude that people are thinking twice before leaving the house. The situation in the afternoon is even worse, the roads seem empty and the markets seem deserted. In April itself, the June-like heat has troubled people.
Heat breaks all records, many cities cross 40°C
At present the weather in UP is completely dry and this is the reason why the temperature is continuously increasing. The situation has changed so much in the last one week that the mercury has reached above 40 degrees Celsius in many districts. Hot westerly winds along with strong sunshine are making the situation more difficult. Just after 10 in the morning, it seems as if the day has reached its peak, and getting out by noon is no less than a challenge.

Banda becomes the hottest city of the state
Banda of Bundelkhand is currently suffering the hottest in the entire state. The maximum temperature recorded here is 44.4°C, which is the highest so far this season. Local people say that even the wind blowing in the afternoon feels like a hot slap instead of giving coolness. Traffic on the roads has reduced and people are avoiding leaving their homes except for essential work.
Why is the heat increasing so much?
According to meteorologists, no active weather system is working at this time. Its direct effect is that dry westerly winds are reaching the plains without any hindrance. On the other hand, the anti-cyclone formed over Karnataka and Maharashtra is now slowly moving towards Central India. This system is making the hot air stronger, due to which the temperature is continuously rising. That is, it is clear that at present there is no major factor to stop the heat.
The heat will scorch further, there is no possibility of immediate relief
The Meteorological Department says that the coming 2 to 3 days may become more difficult for the people. Temperatures may continue to rise slightly and hot winds will continue to blow along with bright sunshine. This means that at present there is no hope of respite from the heat and people will have to spend the day with caution.
When will the weather change, when will we get relief?
However, after this a slight change in the weather may be seen. A new Western Disturbance is likely to become active, which will impact North India. There is no possibility of rain, but light clouds may appear in the sky and the direction of the winds may change. Due to this change, the temperature is expected to drop slightly, due to which people may get some relief from the scorching heat.
