Bareilly News: A newborn baby was found abandoned under a cart at the Satellite Bus Stand in Bareilly. Hearing the crying, people informed the police. The child has been admitted to the district hospital, while the police is searching for the family members by scanning the CCTV footage.
An incident that shocks humanity has come to light from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. There was a sensation in the area when an abandoned newborn was found under a cart at the satellite bus stand of the city on Sunday. When the passers-by heard the child crying, they reached the spot and looked under the cart. There was a newborn lying there. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and safely took the child to the district hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.
Hearing the crying sound, people saved the life of the newborn
The incident took place at the Satellite Bus Stand located in Baradari police station area. According to eyewitnesses, people passing by the cart in the morning suddenly heard the sound of a child crying. At first people did not understand anything, but when they looked under the cart, they found an abandoned newborn baby there. Local people informed the police without any delay. Within some time, Baradari police station reached the spot and took the child under their protection and sent him to the district hospital with the help of an ambulance.

Treatment continues in the district hospital, condition stable
According to the police, after being admitted to the hospital, doctors conducted a primary health checkup of the newborn. At present, doctors have declared the child’s condition to be stable and he has been kept under medical observation. Due to timely alertness of the local people and prompt action of the police, the newborn could get safe treatment. At present the hospital administration is continuously monitoring the child.
Police is scanning CCTV footage, search for family members continues
In the preliminary investigation, the police suspect that some woman left the newborn under the cart. However, there is no official confirmation in this regard yet. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police is examining the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby. Besides, shopkeepers, cart operators and local people of the bus stand are being interrogated so that the person who left the child there and his family members can be identified. Police say that all aspects are being investigated and further legal action will be taken based on the available evidence.
