Claim to form government in Bengal-Assam
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party will form the government in both the states of West Bengal and Assam. He said that in Assam the party is going to form the government for the third consecutive time, whereas this victory in West Bengal is the result of a long struggle. According to Mohan Yadav, in the last elections the party had covered “half the way”, which was completed this time under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

sharp attack on the opposition
The Chief Minister also launched a scathing attack on Congress and other opposition parties. Taking the names of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, he said that the kind of statements made on women empowerment and social issues in recent times, the public has responded to them in the elections. Along with this, he also targeted DMK and said that the impact of the statements made against Sanatan culture is also clearly visible in the election results.

Mohan Yadav said the victory was also against forces he described as “separatists and infiltrators”. According to him, the public has expressed confidence in the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and this confidence has come out in the form of this massive mandate.

The Chief Minister said that with this victory, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is moving towards breaking its old record. He claimed that the number of BJP and NDA ruled states in the country will increase further, which is a sign of the party’s expansion and public acceptance.

Regarding Bengal, the Chief Minister said that the state lagged behind in the race of development due to different governments for a long time.
