A surprising incident has happened in the court of Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh. Amidst heavy security in the court premises here, a prisoner threw chilli pepper in the eyes of the constable who was taking him to the court. When the constable started rubbing his eyes, the accused started running away from there. When the lawyers present at the spot saw this, they ran and caught the accused. The prisoner has also been injured in this incident. At present, the police have taken both the constable and the prisoner injured in this incident to the hospital. The police is investigating the matter.

The accused has been identified as Saif Imran, a resident of Jais in Amethi district. He was arrested by the police in the year 2020 on charges of drug smuggling, since then he was in jail. He had a regular appearance in the court on Monday. For this, he was brought to the court from jail under heavy security. From the court lock-up, two constables were holding his hand and taking him towards the court room. Meanwhile, the accused threw chilli in the eyes of a constable and freed his hand and started running away. When the lawyers present there saw this incident, they ran and caught him.

The released prisoner had given chilli powder

The police have registered a new case against this prisoner. According to the police, chilli powder was given to the accused by his recently released associate Amar. He was the one who told Imran about the plan to escape from jail. After this the accused tried to run away from the police. Let us tell you that the accused arrested in any case are brought to appear in the court every 14 days. During this period, their bail or other issues are heard as per requirement.
