Daroga had sought a bribe in lieu of managing the case in one case.

Daroga had first demanded one lakh rupees in the name of managing the case from the victim, but after this deal was fixed for 30 thousand rupees. The victim had reached to give money to the inspector. Meanwhile, the team of his police station and the team of anti -corruption caught him.
Complaint in Anti Corruption Bureau
Giving information about the arrest of Daroga Chandradeep Prasad, the Anti Corruption Bureau said that Ashish Kumar Yadav (27), a resident of Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh and his father Gangasagar Yadav had complained to the inspector in a bribery case from the Anti Corruption Bureau. Giving information about the case, Ashish’s father had told the bureau that his son was engaged to a girl from Namkum police station area a few days ago. However, the relationship was broken due to some reasons.
Bribe was demanding 1 lakh
After this, all the goods were exchanged through the panches. However, despite this, the girl’s father lodged an FIR against the boy and his family in serious sections on 08 July 2024 at Namkum police station in Ranchi. Daroga Chandradeep Prasad was investigating the matter. In this case, the victim Ashish Kumar Yadav took bail from Civil Court Ranchi. Despite this, Daroga Chandradeep Prasad was demanding a bribe of Rs 1 lakh to manage the case.
Randing arrested while taking bribe
The victim did not want to give Ashish Kumar. After this, he, along with his father Gangasagar, complained to the Anti Corruption Bureau Ranchi. After the matter was found to be correct in the investigation, the anti -corruption team arrested Sub Inspector Chandradeep Prasad from Namkum police station on Friday, taking a bribe of Rs 30,000 from the victim.
