The Kundarki seat of UP where the most uproar is taking place is the same place where voting is taking place.

Along with Maharashtra and Jharkhand, today (Wednesday) voting is also taking place on 9 assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh. Here people are using their franchise for the by-elections. Kundarki seat of Moradabad is also included in the seats where voting is taking place. There was uproar during voting here. Samajwadi Party (SP) has made many allegations against the police administration. However, despite the uproar, the highest turnout has taken place here so far. According to the Election Commission data till 11 am, 28.54 percent voting took place in Kundarki. At the same time, the lowest voting took place in Ghaziabad. Till 11 am, 12.87 percent voting took place here.

Apart from this, SP has also posted on X regarding Karhal seat of Mainpuri and accused the police. On behalf of the party, it was said that at Sector No. 17, Booth No. 250 in Karhal Assembly, Samajwadi Party supporters are being beaten by the police force and voters are being prevented from casting their votes.

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has appealed to the Supreme Court regarding this. He wrote, There is an appeal to the Honorable Supreme Court and the Election Commission to immediately take cognizance of the video evidence received and take punitive action and also ensure a fair electoral process. He said that all the police officers who are checking voter cards and Aadhaar IDs should be immediately suspended on the basis of the video. Police has no right to check Aadhaar ID card or identity card.

What did the DM say?

The District Magistrate rejected SP’s allegations. Kundarki DM Anuj Singh has said that I myself went and inspected. The elections are going on peacefully. No voter is facing any kind of problem.
