Was UPSC aspirant forced to commit suicide after just 4 months of marriage? Are the allegations against the wife and in-laws made in the 12-page suicide note true? Did the pressure of divorce, mental torture and relationship stress take away Rahul’s life? Or will the mother-in-law’s claim of demanding Rs 5 lakh bring a new and shocking twist to the case?
Ujjain: A sensational case has come to light from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh which has shocked everyone. A 27-year-old promising youth, who was preparing for the country’s most prestigious Civil Services Examination (UPSC), ended his life. But this is not just a suicide; A web of family strife, deception and mental torture hidden behind the death has been exposed, which has raised many serious questions before the society. When a 12-page suicide note came to light on Tuesday after a dead body was found hanging in a rented room in Indira Nagar on Monday, there was a stir in the entire area.
That dreadful beginning of the wedding night: “Don’t touch me!”
The deceased youth has been identified as Rahul (father Ramkaran Meghwal), a resident of Nalkheda in Agar-Malwa, who was living in Ujjain and dreaming of becoming an administrative officer. Rahul was married to Kavita (Mannat Kamariya) this year on 10 February 2026. Rahul made very shocking revelations in his suicide note and wrote that his life had become hell from the very first day of his marriage. “Since the initial days of marriage, my wife used to maintain distance. On the wedding night, she had clearly said that you have no right on me, do not touch me.” According to Rahul, just 10 days after his marriage, his wife Kavita, mother-in-law Siddhika Kamaria and father-in-law Gopal Singh Chauhan started pressurizing him for divorce. He was being constantly threatened and intimidated, due to which he started feeling that a conspiracy was being hatched to murder him.
12 pages of pain and the last scream: “Mother and daughter will die in agony”
When Rahul’s roommate had gone out for some work, Rahul did this dreadful step from behind. The 12-page suicide note found by the police during the search of the room testified to Rahul’s mental suffocation and helplessness. Apologizing to his parents, he wrote: “Papa-Mom, please forgive me… I am leaving you with sorrow instead of happiness. I was suffocating inside for a long time. I did not think that I would ever get justice from the society or the court. Now perhaps I will find peace only after death.”
Rahul’s anger and pain were clearly visible in the last pages of the suicide note. He wrote that such people have no right to live in the society who break the poor. In the last note, he cursed and wrote, “You two, mother and daughter, will never be happy and will die in agony… You were eating me alive every day.” Rahul also appealed to the youth and the families of the girls that if the girl’s choice is someone else, then they should not ruin the life of any innocent person out of compulsion.
Mother-in-law’s counterattack: Is this a story composed for Rs 5 lakh?
This whole matter took a new turn when Rahul’s mother-in-law Siddhika Kamariya came in front of the media. He completely rejected all the allegations of Rahul and made a new and shocking claim. Mother-in-law says that Rahul himself was harassing her. The in-laws allege that they have call recordings in which Rahul was demanding a huge amount of Rs 5 lakh from them. The mother-in-law said, “We ourselves were so fed up with him that we had stopped picking up his calls. We had also borne the entire expenses of the wedding. There is not even an iota of truth in what Rahul has written.”
Police investigation: Will Raj reveal call details and suicide note?
As soon as information about the incident was received, Nagjhiri police station reached the spot and handed over the body to the family members after postmortem. Now this matter has become very complicated for the police. On one side there is a 12-page painful suicide note, and on the other side there is a claim from the in-laws demanding money. According to police officials, a thorough investigation has been started on the basis of Rahul’s mobile phone, call details, handwriting of the suicide note and other witnesses. The police will soon take Rahul’s in-laws into custody and interrogate them. Now it remains to be seen when the police will be able to uncover the mystery of this complicated death by connecting the links of call recording and suicide note.
