There was mourning in two families in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh when the bodies of the bride and groom were found hanging in the room. Both of them got married two days later. On the day of Haldi, when their bodies were found hanging in the room, the family members screamed. The police was immediately informed about this. The police reached the spot and sent both the bodies for post-mortem. At the same time, the groom’s family has accused the bride’s side of murder.

The matter is of village Mithora of Mahmudabad Kotwali area. According to the information, a love affair was going on for 3 years between the youth Guddu, son of Ram Vilas, resident of Bargadiya, resident of the police station area, and the girl Ruchi, daughter of Bhagwati Prasad, resident of Bithaura, aged 25 years. Family members told that both of them were to get married on November 25 under the Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Scheme. Due to some reason, the wedding date was cancelled, the family members had decided to hold the wedding in the temple.

The bride and groom were hanging from the noose

Family members told that today there was a Haldi program inside the house. Meanwhile, when the door of the house was opened, the boyfriend and girlfriend were found hanging from the noose of their saree in the room of the girl’s house. After the incident, the boy’s family members have given a statement to the police, suspecting the girl’s brother-in-law of murder.

Dispute with girl’s brother-in-law

Family members say that the young man had a dispute with the girl’s brother-in-law 2 to 3 days ago. After this, after the bodies of both were found today, there is a suspicion of murder. Additional Superintendent of Police said that the situation will become clear after the post-mortem report because prima facie the case appears to be a suicide. But this case is being investigated from every angle.
