After the bumper victory in Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chauhan attacked Congress for the first time. Addressing a public meeting in Raghogarh on Friday, he cited Congress’s defeat in Madhya Pradesh as the reason. He said that Congress lost the elections in Madhya Pradesh due to its arrogance. Now frustrated with the defeat, Congress is blaming EVM.
Shivraj said that Congress had lost the elections in MP on the same day it had won the elections in Karnataka. Nothing will be achieved by blaming EVMs. Congress has lost the elections not because of EVMs but because of its arrogance. Let us tell you that BJP has got a landslide victory in Madhya Pradesh. Out of 230 seats in MP, BJP has won 163 seats. At the same time, Congress was reduced to only 66 seats.
