Janjgir Champa district of Chhattisgarh… A boy had come here on Sunday night to meet his girlfriend. It was night time. The boy had also brought his friend along. As soon as the boy sat and started talking with his girlfriend, some people came there from behind. Those people were none other than the girlfriend’s family. They started beating the boy and his friend. The friend somehow escaped from there to save his life. But the boy who had come to meet his girlfriend died due to beating.
Later, the boy’s family members went to Bilaspur and threw the boy’s body in the forest. The next day, when the boy’s body was found lying in the forest, the police started investigating the case. His mobile phone and purse were found from the boy. With this he was identified. The boy’s name was Tikaram Kevant. He was a resident of Balodabazar.
The police immediately informed the boy’s house about this. Then it came to light that he had gone somewhere with his friend Deepak. But did not return. Police interrogated Deepak. Deepak then told the whole story to the police. Said- Sir, Tikaram was my friend. His girlfriend lives in Janjgir Champa. Tikaram had come to meet him on Sunday night. He took me along with him. But here Tikaram and I were beaten up by his girlfriend’s family members. I ran away from there but Tikaram kept getting beaten there.
Tikaram was warned
Deepak said- I thought that they would leave him. But I didn’t know that they would kill him. I even tried to intervene. But those people were beating us. Those people had warned Tikaram earlier also. Told him to stay away from his daughter. But Tikaram did not agree. His girlfriend had also told him not to come to meet her. Still Tikaram forcefully went there to meet him.
Crying condition of family members in bad condition
In this case, the police also suspect five people including the girl’s father, brother and brother-in-law to be involved in the murder. At present the police have also arrested some suspects. The body has been sent for post-mortem. Further action will be taken after the report comes. On the other hand, Tikaram’s family members are in bad condition and crying.
