There was an emotional and tense atmosphere in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh when the mortal remains of Indian sailor Shivanand Chaurasia reached his native village. The ambulance carrying the body brought from the Strait of Hormuz area was stopped on the way by family members and villagers and started protesting. The family has demanded a compensation of Rs 1 crore, a house and a job from the government.
