Twisha Death Mystery: Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team has intensified its investigation in the famous Twisha Sharma death case. On Monday, a CBI team reached the house of accused former District Judge Giribala Singh in Bhopal. Here the team recreated the crime scene so that the links of the incident could be connected. As part of the investigation, the team used a dummy, during the entire process the accused mother-in-law Giribala Singh and husband Samarth Singh were also present at the spot.
Silent protest for justice for Twisha
- Let us tell you that earlier on Sunday, a silent protest was organized in Noida, Uttar Pradesh to get justice for Twisha Sharma.
- This matter came to light when Twisha, a resident of Noida, died in Bhopal on May 12. The family alleges that Twisha was being mentally harassed for dowry by her husband and in-laws.
When and how did Twisha Sharma die?
- Twisha Sharma was married to Samarth Singh, a resident of Bhopal, in December 2025. After her death on May 12, the family accused her husband and in-laws of harassing her for dowry. In this case, serious allegations have been made under the new Indian Justice Code, 2023 and Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

We have all gathered here to show our solidarity. Many people have come forward in our support. Former judge Giribala Singh and husband Samarth on remand till June 2
Earlier on May 29, the mortal remains of 33-year-old Twisha Sharma were immersed in the Ganga river in Rishikesh. Her father, Navnidhi Sharma had told that his daughter had a deep attachment to Rishikesh and the river Ganga. Bhopal District Court has sent the accused mother-in-law and former judge Giribala Singh and husband Samarth Singh on five-day CBI remand till June 2. Special Judge Shobhana Bhalawe had allowed CBI five days’ custody of both the accused for further interrogation.
