A surprising case has come to light in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Here a young man got the death certificate of his living sister made and then declared himself his sister’s nominee in the bank and withdrew Rs 21.66 lakh from the account. When the sister came to know about this, at first she did not understand the matter. Finally, on August 16, he lodged a report at Hasanganj police station regarding the fraud that happened to him. Seeing the seriousness of the case, the police has arrested the accused brother Gaurav Gupta.

In the complaint given to the police, the victim Garima Gupta told that she lives in Kanpur. His mother had deposited money in the bank in his name. His brother Gaurav Gupta had an evil eye on this money. He colluded with Mayo Hospital in Barabanki and got his fake death certificate made. After this, the accused brother deposited this death certificate in his bank and declared himself a nominee and withdrew Rs 21.66 lakh from the account.

Case was filed on 16th August

When he came to know about the matter in the first week of August, at first he did not understand how a brother could cheat his sister in this way. After this, he gave a written complaint against the accused brother in Hasanganj police station on 16th August. On the basis of this complaint, the police, while investigating the case, have arrested the accused brother Gaurav Gupta, who lives in Thatheri Bazaar.

The blame will also fall on the hospital staff

According to the police, action will be taken against the hospital employees and officials who made fake certificates in this case. Notice has been issued to everyone for this. According to Lucknow DCP Central Raveena Tyagi, action will be taken against all those involved in this incident. Along with this, efforts are also being made to recover the amount withdrawn from the victim’s account.
