There is good news for the youth preparing for government jobs in Bihar. Bihar Police Undergraduate Service Commission (BPSSC) has started the application process for recruitment to the posts of Havildar Instructor.
A total of 122 vacant posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. This is considered to be a great opportunity for those candidates who have passed 12th class and want to make a career in government service.
On which posts will there be recruitment?
This recruitment has been done for the posts of Commanding Instructor (Havildar Instructor) under Bihar Home Defense Corps Service Cadre. Selected candidates will be appointed under Home Department (Special Branch). The pay scale of the posts has been determined as per Level-4 of the Pay Matrix of Bihar Government.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of the Commission. The application process has started from 1st May 2026 and will continue till 1st June 2026. Candidates are advised to complete the application well in time without waiting for the last date.

How will the selection be done?
Candidates will be selected in two phases. In the first phase, a written competitive examination will be conducted, which will be of 100 marks. Candidates successful in the written examination will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Physical efficiency test will also be of 100 marks.
