According to reports, Thalapathy Vijay has won from two seats—Chennai’s Perambur and Tiruchirappalli East—in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. As per the rules, he cannot retain both the seats, so he will have to give up one seat within 14 days. It is being told that Vijay wants to retain the Perambur seat because his victory margin there is very big and this seat is also close to the state secretariat. In such a situation, Tiruchirappalli East seat may become vacant, where by-elections are likely to be held. The discussion about Trisha Krishnan contesting from this seat has intensified.
TVK leaders are trying, but Trisha is not ready at the moment!

The party wants him to become a candidate in the by-election because he has tremendous popularity in the South. However, it is being said that Trisha is not completely sure about entering politics. Still, leaders close to Vijay believe that if Trisha contests the elections, it can prove to be a big political and star power step for TVK.
