The caller described himself as an officer of Cyber Crime Branch Mumbai. After this, the caller threatened to implicate Kari Suheb in the case of money laundering. Cyber thugs arrested Kari Suheb digital on video calls and kept them in the same room for about 12 hours.

The Legislative Councilor has also informed that the thugs said that crores of transactions have been done with many people from their Canara Bank, Mumbai branch account. A case has been registered in his name in this connection. The thugs informed Kari Suheb to the case number. He said that he has to talk to the Legislative Councilor in this regard. Kari Suhayb told that the thugs took personal information from him as well as asked about cash and jewelery. After which he suspected that he was being cheated.
