The rhetoric has intensified in the politics of Bihar. Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav made a big attack on Samrat Chaudhary and the NDA government, saying that “the elected was removed and the selected was made the Chief Minister.” Citing figures, Tejashwi Yadav raised questions on the government’s policies, unemployment, migration and claims of development. He alleged that the mandate elected by the public was not respected and the trust of the people of Bihar was compromised for power politics.
