India vs Zimbabwe T20I Squad: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Indian team for the three-match T20 International series against Zimbabwe later this month. The command of the 15-member team selected under the leadership of selection committee chairman Ajit Agarkar has been handed over to Shreyas Iyer. The biggest decision in this team was to drop Sanju Samson. Due to poor form, the wicketkeeper-batsman did not get a place in the team. At the same time, young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has retained his place.

Sanju Samson’s recent performance was not as expected, which also affected the team selection. In the first T20 match against England, he scored only 1 run on 7 balls. Three players have been selected for the first time in the senior Indian team for this T20 series. Rajasthan fast bowler Ashok Sharma, who was recently included in the India A team for the tri-series in Sri Lanka, has now become a part of the T20 International team for the first time. Yash Thakur, who has consistently performed well in domestic cricket, has also been included in the Indian team for the first time.
