Team India Support Staff Splits in 2 Groups: As the ongoing T20 series between India and England reaches its final stage, a big update has come out from Team India’s camp. The fifth and last T20 match of the series is to be played on July 11 at The Rose Bowl Stadium in Southampton. But just before this last match, the support staff of the Indian team has been divided into two different groups. The main reason for dividing the support staff into two parts is the ODI series to be held immediately after the T20 series, for the preparations for which India’s senior ODI players have reached England.

According to media reports, to complete the preparations for the ODI series on time and handle both the teams properly, the support staff has divided themselves into two groups. The Group-1 T20 team is leaving for Southampton, who will be with the team during the last and final T20 match to be held on 11th July. At the same time, Group-2 has left for Birmingham directly from Bristol, so that it can connect with the players of the ODI team who have already reached there and take care of their practice session.

ODI series starts from 14th July

The first match of the three-match ODI series between India and England will be played on July 14 at the historic Edgbaston ground in Birmingham. Senior veterans like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah are returning in this series, due to which the Indian team will look very strong. At the same time, Shubman Gill will be seen captaining the team and T20 team captain Shreyas Iyer will be seen playing the role of vice-captain in the ODI series.

Complete schedule of ODI series:

  1. 1st ODI: 14 July, Edgbaston
  2. 2nd ODI: 16 July, Cardiff
  3. 3rd ODI: July 19, Lord’s
