Team India’s assistant coach and Gautam Gambhir’s very special friend Ryan ten Deskathe is going to leave Team India. According to reports, Descathe will leave the team after the ODI series against England. Deskathe is waiting for the permission of BCCI and head coach Gautam Gambhir. Once permission is granted, the ODI to be held on July 19 will be his last day with Team India as an assistant coach.
Why is Deskathe separating from Team India?
According to the report of Cricbuzz, Ten Descathe has expressed his desire to leave his post to BCCI. Why Deskathe is taking this decision is a big question. It is being told that he is happy with the environment of Team India and he is also satisfied with his job but due to personal reasons he wants to leave the team. Actually, Deskathe has three young sons and his wife also works. His family lives in London and Descathe wants to devote more time to his family. According to reports, Deskathe is looking for a job in which he has to travel less and spend more time with his family.
Deskathe’s contract has also ended
This former all-rounder from Netherlands had joined the Indian team two years ago. It is being told that his two-year contract has been completed. His contract ended around 12 to 14 July. This is the reason why there is a high possibility that he will be relieved from his post after the third ODI to be held at Lord’s.
Ryan ten Deskathe’s coaching career
Ryan ten Deskathe has had an excellent coaching career. He has been coaching since the year 2021. First of all he became the batting coach of Kent. After one year, he joined KKR and remained the fielding coach till 2024. After 2024, he became the assistant coach of Team India. Now after leaving Team India, this player can join any county team.
