The command of Team India cannot be given to Rohit Sharma for this series because before that Team India has to play Border Gavaskar Trophy against Australia due to which senior players can be given rest.

Rishabh Pant can become captain

The captaincy of the team can be given to Rishabh Pant for this series. Some new faces can also be given a chance under Rishabh’s captaincy. In which players who have consistently performed well in domestic and IPL can be given a chance. The team management can see Rishabh Pant as an option for the captain for the future due to which he can get the captaincy.

Yashasvi may get a chance to debut

Yashasvi Jaiswal may also get a chance in the team. Yashasvi is performing well for India in Test and T20. Only considering this, he can be given a chance in the ODI team. Yashasvi has been a part of two teams of Team India for some time and after Rohit Sharma, he is the only one who can open in ODIs, hence the team management can give him a chance to debut.

If we talk about bowling, then Harshit Rana and Mayank Yadav can also be tried in bowling. Harshit got a chance in the T20 team but due to fever he could not play the match. Mayank Yadav also performed well in his T20 debut, hence he can be given a chance in the ODI team as well.
