Tata Safari Features Update: Tata Motors has made changes in the features of premium SUV Safari. Under this, the SUV has lost some features, while the addition of some new features has also benefited. Tata has updated the features of the pure variant of Safari. The range of this SUV starts from the base variant Smart (Smart and Smart (O)). Apart from this, Pure, Pure (O), Pure Plus and Pure Plus S variants are also available.
Tata Safari: These features removed
Many features are no longer included in the pure variant of Tata Safari. AC vents, armrest, spare wheel for third row occupants, roof light for second and third row occupants, tire pressure monitoring system and LED light features have been removed. Additionally, a manual IRVM has replaced the previously existing auto-dimming IRVM unit.
New features and price
Despite removing some features Tata Motors Has made new changes in the Pure trim of the SUV. Now new features like shark-fin antenna, reverse parking camera and 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system have been included in it.
Even after these updates, there has been no difference in the price of pure variant of Tata Safari. The ex-showroom price of Tata Safari Pure has been retained at Rs 16.99 lakh to Rs 18.99 lakh.
Specifications of Tata Safari
Tata Safari SUV is powered by a 2.0 liter four cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. This SUV comes with 6 speed manual gearbox and 6 speed torque converter automatic gearbox option. This engine generates maximum torque of 168bhp and 350Nm. Tata Motors can also offer Safari with 1.5 liter TGDi petrol engine.
