Many auto companies including Tata Motors and Mahindra have announced special offers for vehicles stuck in floods.
Car companies are offering services like extended warranty, free roadside assistance and personalized assistance packages to car owners affected by Cyclone Michong. Car companies are providing many special services to help their customers-
Mahindra and Mahindra: To provide relief to the owners of Mahindra SUVs, Mahindra has announced to provide complimentary roadside assistance within a radius of 50 kilometers. According to reports, the company will also provide towing service to the nearest authorized workshop.
Customers will not have to pay any charge for examining the damage caused to the car. Discount will also be available on repairing. These offers will be valid till 31 December 2023.
Tata Motors: Tata Motors has given great relief to the affected customers of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. The period of warranty and service covering contracts expiring between December 1, 2023 and December 15, 2023 has been extended. The company is providing free towing service.
A dedicated team has been deployed for emergency roadside assistance. The company has also started 24X7 helpdesk 1800-209-8282.
Toyota: Toyota has deployed emergency helpline numbers and staff to provide immediate help. Apart from this, Toyota Tsusho Insurance Broker India (TTIBI) is giving information about taking precautions while taking out cars stuck in floods. The company is providing pickup and drop service for car repairing and service.
Renault: Renault is providing important information to its customers through SMS and app notifications. Customers will get free roadside assistance, and towing charges will be reimbursed. The company has installed 15 towing trucks separately. The helpline team is ready to help people 24X7. The working hours of the workshop have also been extended.
Volkswagen: Volkswagen is offering complimentary roadside assistance service. Apart from this, service check and damage repairing will also be done. To help customers, Volkswagen is ensuring that standard repair guidelines are followed at the workshops, and there is no shortage of manpower and spare parts.
Yamaha: Yamaha is offering free roadside assistance and checkup. For this, helpline number 1800-3093-968 has been issued. Yamaha’s special service campaign will run till the end of this month. The company will provide 100% lube support in case of engine overhaul and will deliver the parts within 24 hours of ordering.
