Tata Motors is going to launch facelift models of its two popular cars Altroz and Punch. The company has also started testing the new Altroz. Meanwhile, the car has been spotted during testing. The testing model was completely covered, so no specific details regarding the design of the new car were revealed.
It is believed that the company will bring the updated model of Tata Altroz with new style bumpers and some cosmetic changes. The exterior of the Altroz facelift is expected to remain almost the same as the current model. However, changes will be seen in its cabin and features.
Features of Tata Altroz Facelift
According to the leaked pictures, the new Altroz facelift will be provided with a touchscreen infotainment system with a large screen, this car can come with a 10.25 inch unit like the Nexon and Punch EV. This updated hatchback of Tata will also be provided with 7-0 inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, 6 air bags and air purifier.
Tata Altroz Facelift Engine
The new Altroz facelift will get a 1.2 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine which will generate power of 88bhp. Apart from this, there will also be an option of 1.2 liter turbo petrol engine, which generates power of 110bhp. The same engine setup is also found in the current Altroz. Apart from this, this car will also come with CNG powertrain. In this, 1.2 liter petrol engine will be combined with twin cylinder CNG technology. 5-speed manual and 6-speed DCT gearbox will be provided for transmission.
Tata Altroz Racer Edition
After launching the facelift model of Altroz, the company will also launch the Racer Edition of this car. It was introduced at the Auto Expo in the year 2023. Altroz Racer will be more powerful. Its engine setup may be like Tata Curve.
