Suzuki XL7 Facelift Leaks Ahead Of Debut – New Fascia For XL6?

Suzuki is expected to launch a facelift for its premium MPV, the XL7, for ASEAN nations like Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam and the likes. Ahead of its launch, Suzuki XL7 facelift was expected to make a grand debut at 2026 GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show).

However, it has been leaked ahead of its 2026 GIIAS debut and this   facelift is yet to live on the company’s official websites. These leaked images show the exterior updates of the soon-to-debut Suzuki XL7 and these revised aesthetics may eventually end up on India-spec Maruti Suzuki XL6 in the future.

Ahead of its grand debut, images of Suzuki XL7 facelift for markets like Indonesia and Vietnam have been leaked. This premium MPV was expected to make a grand debut at 2026 GIIAS show. The leaked images sadly do not give us any information about interior updates with this facelift update.

These leaked images show an all-new grille with this facelift. In the current model, there is a larger upper grille and below it is a smaller lower grille. With this facelift, Suzuki is sort of giving it a large single grille which extends across the height of XL7’s fascia. The whole grille area is finished in Black shade.

A thick plastic plaque in the middle of this revised grille will house the number plate and below it is a new faux skid plate, which gets a Silver finish. Above it, there is an interesting pattern of chrome highlights, which sort of gives it a connected headlights effect, but is likely to split opinions among enthusiasts. Some variants get black finish on this element.

There are new fog light housings and actual lighting elements are now sleeker. More functional elements like the headlights are retained as they were, which is not a bad thing. Rear design seems to be carried over as is, but the spy shots have revealed that tail lights could get a smoked effect for a sportier look.

What to expect?

At the sides, we can see new design for the alloy wheels and depending on variants, Suzuki might offer Black or Black and Chrome dual tone finishes. The leaked images do not show interiors of XL7 facelift. Larger infotainment screen is expected with this update too. 2nd row bench seating is the primary differentiator of XL7 over XL6 sold in India.

Powering the Suzuki XL7 Facelift will be the same 1.5L 4-cylinder NA Petrol mild hybrid engine. Maruti Suzuki in India has not confirmed whether this revised aesthetics will make its way to India-spec XL6, but there is a probability because both models had similar design to one another.
