Suzuki Motorcycle India has officially launched the Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition in the country, bringing an exclusive design package alongside mechanical and technological refinements to its flagship performance motorcycle range. The release is accompanied by a colour refresh and functional updates for the standard model.
The Special Edition variant stands out with an exclusive Pearl Vigor Blue paint scheme, bespoke body decals, unique wheel finishes, a three-dimensional fuel tank emblem, and a special badge. It also incorporates anodised finishes on the muffler ends and heat guards, along with a factory-fitted single-seat cowl. Meanwhile, the standard Hayabusa gains three new dual-tone colour combinations comprising Candy Daring Red and Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Galaxy Gray and Candy Burnt Gold, and Pearl Vigor Blue and Pearl Brilliant White.
Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition Specifications and Features
The Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition relies on a 1,340cc inline four-cylinder engine that generates 190 bhp and 142 Nm of torque, matched to a six-speed gearbox. Built on a twin-spar aluminium frame, the motorcycle features adjustable KYB inverted front forks and a rear monoshock. Stopping power is handled by twin 320mm floating front discs with Brembo Stylema callipers, mounted on Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 tyres.
Both the Special Edition and the updated standard model adopt a lighter, more compact ELIIY Power lithium-ion battery. Technological upgrades include revised settings for the Launch Control System and Power Mode Selector, alongside a Smart Cruise Control system that remains active during gear shifts. Additional rider aids consist of traction control, a bi-directional quickshifter, Suzuki Easy Start, Low RPM Assist, and slope-dependent control.
