Rs 7.84 Lakh 7-Seater Family Car Offers 21kmpl Mileage

Renault India has finally introduced the Triber Turbo in Evolution, Techno and Emotion Turbo variants, priced at Rs 7.84 lakh, Rs 8.53 lakh and Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The petrol-turbo variants are nearly Rs 94,000 – Rs 1.11 lakh more expensive than their naturally aspirated petrol counterparts. Dual-tone colour option will cost an additional Rs 21,000.

Turbo Power & Mileage

Under the hood, the Renault Triber Turbo features a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder ‘HR10’ petrol engine, sourced from the Duster. It pushes out a maximum power of 100bhp and 180Nm of torque. Renault claims that the Triber Turbo offers an ARAI-certified mileage of 21kmpl. The MPV accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in 10.8 seconds.

As of now, the petrol-turbo engine is available only with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Renault will soon introduce a CVT automatic transmission option.

Design Highlights

Visually, the new Renault Triber Turbo looks exactly similar to the naturally aspirated petrol variant. Only a new ‘TURBO’ badge on the tailgate differentiates it from the regular NA version. It features the familiar gloss black grille with Renault’s new logo, LED headlamps with LED DRLs, bumper with a larger air dam and silver surround, dual-tone 15-inch wheels, functional roof rails, gloss black finished ORVMs and door handles, LED taillamps connected by gloss-black trim.

Interior & Features

In terms of features, the Renault Triber Turbo offers a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charger, a cooled centre storage box, automatic climate control with separate blower control for the rear, automatic headlamps and wipers, cruise control, and more. The MPV continues to offer a boost space of 625-litre with third row folded.
