Suzlon Energy Q1 Result: Net Profit Falls 6% YoY To Rs 305 Crore, Energy Stock Crashes 10%

Suzlon Energy Q1 Result: Shares of Suzlon Energy crashed nearly 9.5% during Tuesday’s intraday trading session after the renewable energy company reported a 6% decline in profit.

Suzlon Energy reported a 6% year-on-year decline in its net consolidated profit to Rs 305.22 crore in Q1FY27.

Suzlon Energy stock closed 9.7% lower at Rs 47.98 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 65,942.58 crore at on Tuesday, July 28. The stock had touched an intraday high mark of Rs 53.21 per share and an intraday low mark of Rs 47.84 per share.

Suzlon Energy Q1 Result

The wind turbine maker reported a net profit of Rs 305.22 crore in Q1FY27, against Rs 324.32 crore reported in the year ago period. The renewable energy player had reported a net profit of Rs 1, 114.35 crore in Q4FY26.

While net profit declined marginally during the quarter under review, the company’s net revenue from operations remained strong. Its Q1FY27 net revenue from operations stood at Rs 3,819.36 crore against Rs 3,117.33 crore reported in the year-ago period. Its revenue from operations stood at Rs 5,468.06 crore in Q4FY26. With this, the company’s total revenue from operations stood at Rs 3,862.53 crore during the quarter under review.

Suzlon Energy Q1 Result: Segment Revenue

The company had earned an estimated Rs 3,174.31 crore from the renewable energy segment in Q1FY27 against Rs 2,494.57 crore in Q1FY26. Its revenue from RE asset management services stood at Rs 631.88 crore. Whereas Foundry and Forging segment generated a revenue of Rs 125.86 crore in Q1FY27.

Suzlon Energy Q1 Result Highlights: Order Deliveries

The company claimed of executing highest-ever deliveries in Q1FY27. As per the company’s press release, it secured 1 GW New orders from Tata Power, Sunsure Energy , Waaree , etc. The firm witnessed record new order additions of ~1 GW , including two big DevCo -led EPC orders from Tata Power and Waaree Group.

During the quarter, we also deepened existing partnerships and formed new ones to accelerate our customers’ energy transition journey,” stated Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman , Suzlon Group.
