Actor Suriya is set to don the uniform with a twist in his upcoming film ‘Scene’, directed by Jithu Madhavan. A recent glimpse released by the makers introduces him as DSP Inbaraj, a cheerful and sharp police officer known for his unconventional investigative methods.
The one-minute-four-second preview is set during the COVID-19 pandemic, showcasing Inbaraj maintaining his lighthearted demeanor and cracking jokes even while handling a serious case. The clip offers a clear picture of Suriya’s character and his unique approach to police work. The energetic background score by Sushin Shyam, featuring the track ‘Respectaa’ sung by Arivu with lyrics by Vaasi, adds to the dynamic feel.
The glimpse concludes with a voice-over from Naslen, who plays Eeswaran, stating, ‘Innum Mudiyala…’ (It isn’t over yet). The film also stars Nazriya Nazim Fahadh in a co-lead role, alongside Anandraj, Lal, and Raj Priyan.
Produced by Jyotika and Suriya under Zhagaram Studios, ‘Scene’ is slated for a grand theatrical release on November 6, 2026, coinciding with the Diwali festival. This will be a significant release for Suriya, following his last appearance in the romantic drama ‘Vishwanath & Sons’, which is currently streaming on Netflix.
