Lakshmi Rajwade has called for turning the ‘Suposhan Vriksha-Munga’ campaign into a mass movement. He has appealed to the public representatives, gram panchayats and urban bodies of the state to plant munga (drumstick) on a large scale during the rainy season and to spread the message of ‘Munga in every house, nutrition in every house’ to the common people.

Minister Mrs. Lakshmi Rajwade said in the letter issued in this regard that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the Women and Child Development Department is taking special initiatives to make the state malnutrition-free and well-nourished. For this purpose, a plan has been prepared to plant ‘Suposhan Vriksha-Munga’ in all the Anganwadi centers and houses of the beneficiaries of the state. He said that this campaign will not be limited only to plantation, but will also become a medium to make people aware about nutritious food and better health.
