Manchester Super Giants: Manchester Super Giants team owner Sanjeev Goenka has taken a big decision. Sanjiv Goenka-led RPSG Group has acquired 2.5 acres of land just behind England’s famous Old Trafford Cricket Ground. Under this historic multi-million pound agreement, Manchester Super Giants and Lancashire County Cricket Club will together create a world class high-performance cricket centre. Sanjiv Goenka, owner of Lucknow Super Giants in IPL and Durban Super Giants in South Africa T20, has 70 percent stake in the Manchester franchise of The Hundred.
What will be the special features of this world-class centre?
According to a joint statement issued by Lancashire and RPSG Group, through this new project the existing indoor center will be converted into a large and advanced athlete hub. Many special facilities will be included in this. Under this project, state-of-the-art indoor practice nets and modern gym will be prepared. There will also be a high-tech outdoor training area. Along with this, Sports Science and Medical Facility Center will also be built.

Teams from Lucknow to Durban will get benefit
Not only Manchester Super Giants will get the benefit of this international level training centre, but players of all the teams under RPSG Group like Lucknow Super Giants and Durban Super Giants will also be able to use it. Apart from this, other teams coming to play international matches at Old Trafford and all the domestic teams of Lancashire will also be able to take advantage of this infrastructure.
