Sunny Deol has also shared a post on his Instagram story, in which he has told that the film has been passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) without cuts. According to him, CBFC has given A certificate to the film.

The film is based on the backdrop of a painful historical period like the partition of India. The story will show love, sacrifice, courage and human spirit in difficult situations. Along with Sunny Deol, Shabana Azmi, Preity Zinta, Karan Deol, Ali Fazal and Abhimanyu Singh will be seen in important roles in the film. It is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit. The music of the film was composed by A.R. Rahman and the lyrics are written by Javed Akhtar.
