What is endometriosis?
Endometriosis is a disease associated with long-term inflammation. In this, tissues like the inner layer of the uterus (endometrium) start growing outside the uterus in other parts of the body. These tissues respond to the estrogen hormone and can cause problems such as inflammation, pain, and fibrosis during each menstrual cycle. Many times this disease is not identified on time, because its symptoms can be similar to many other diseases.
