‘Sultan’ is not an ordinary goat. He lives a royal life. He has facilities like milk to drink, dry fruits to eat and cooler to stay. This ‘luxury’ care has made Sultan viral on social media. Another famous goat ‘Golu Lala’ is also attracting people’s attention because of his royal lifestyle. The owners say that this year both the goats will be sacrificed on Bakrid.

Sultan is of the Punjabi beetle breed. Its weight is more than 200 kg and height is about 48 inches. Its owner is Moin Khan of Gulzar Colony. Moin Khan tells that he had brought Sultan from Punjab a year ago. It took two days to bring it and had to travel 1,000 kilometers. Moeen says that he has raised Sultan like a family member and has taken special care of him.

Sultan’s daily diet includes 2 liters of milk, 250 grams of dry fruits and about 10 kg of leaves. A special cooler has also been installed to protect it from heat. He is given cold water and buttermilk to drink. The Sultan also has his own room. As his fame grew, his price reached Rs 8 lakh. According to reports, people are coming from far and wide to have a look at the Sultan.

‘Golu Lala’

Another goat named ‘Golu Lala’ is also becoming quite famous in the Bakrid market of Indore. His owner Fatima tells that she had bought Golu Lala a year ago. He has also been brought up like a member of the family. Golu Lala has his own bed and eats Parle-G biscuits for breakfast. After this, a portion of whatever the housemates eat is also given to him. Golu Lala’s diet also includes almonds, cashew nuts and milk. A special cooler has also been installed to provide relief in the heat.
