Along with this, you will also get the facilities of Polo Golf, Spa, Jacuzzi, Indoor Outdoor Swimming, Walking Trail, Fitness Hub, Yoga etc. Rambagh Palace, made of sandstone and marble, is a fine example of the amazing architecture of that time, due to which it is also known as the ‘Jewel of Jaipur’. Umaid Bhawan Palace, located in Jodhpur district of Rajasthan, is one of the largest private palaces in the world. The construction of Umaid Bhawan Palace was started by Maharaja Umaid Singh in the year 1929, which was completed in the year 1943. At that time, approximately Rs 11 crore was spent in its construction. Umaid Bhawan Palace was designed by Henry Vaughan Lanchester, one of the world’s most famous architects. This palace made of sandstone and marble is a living example of the amazing art of the medieval period. This palace is mainly divided into 3 parts, the first of which is the residence of the royal family, the second is the Taj Palace Hotel and the third is the museum. Spread over 26 acres of land, this palace includes about 347 rooms, throne room, private meeting hall, Durbar Hall, banquet hall, private dining hall, ball room, library, indoor swimming pool and etc. A part of this palace was converted into a hotel in the year 1971, which has more than 70 rooms. Presently the hotel located in this palace is run by “Taj Group of Hotels” due to which it is also called “Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace Jodhpur”. The rent for ordinary rooms here starts from around Rs 36000, which can go up to Rs 6 to 8 lakh for Maharaj Suite, Maharani Suite and Historical Suite. The royal welcome given to guests here by tying a turban along with traditional high tea is very famous among domestic and foreign tourists.
Taj Lake Palace Hotel Udaipur
Taj Lake Palace Hotel, located on Lake Pichola, Udaipur, is also called the jewel of Mewar. This palace, built in the 18th century, is actually the Jal Mahal of Udaipur, which was built by Maharaja Jagat Singh II in 1746. Taj Lake Palace is completely made of marble and you can reach here only by boat. Till 1955, this palace used to be the summer retreat for the members of the Udaipur Maharana family, but in the year 1959, the work of converting it into a hotel started. The Taj Lake Palace Hotel stands on Lake Pichola with 65 rooms and 18 grand suites. Here you will find 18th century architecture and many Instagram picture perfect spots. The most beautiful and special suites here include Mayur Mahal, Grand Presidential Suite and Lake Suite. Fateh Prakash Palace Hotel Udaipur
Nestled between Lake Pichola and the Aravali Hills in Udaipur, Fateh Prakash Palace is basically a part of the Udaipur City Palace. The construction of this magnificent palace and hotel was started by Maharaja Fateh Singh in the year 1884, which was completed in the year 1930. Fateh Prakash Mahal is an excellent example of the architecture of modern India. Certified as the Best Heritage Hotel of India, the hotel is primarily known for its architecture, unique paintings, artefacts and views. Jagat Niwas Palace Udaipur
The Jagat Niwas Palace Hotel, located on the eastern bank of Lake Pichola in Udaipur, India, is considered an architectural marvel. The palace was originally built by Maharana Jagat Singh II in the 17th century as a entertainment palace for himself and his guests. For centuries this royal residence served as a hunting ground and later the home of the Prime Minister of Udaipur. It was converted into a hotel in the early 20th century and has been welcoming guests from all over the world ever since. Jagat Niwas Palace was also featured in the Hollywood film ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ in 2012. Neemrana Fort Palace Alwar
Neemrana Fort Palace, located in the historic city of Alwar, is a magnificent 15th century fort, which has now been converted into a heritage hotel. This luxurious fort of amazing architecture of Rajasthani and Mughal style was built by Rajput king Prithviraj Chauhan III in the year 1464. After restoration that began in 1986, the fort was opened as a 15-room heritage hotel in 1991. Today, the palace has 78 rooms and suites that are known for their architecture, gardens and views. Nestled amidst the Aravalli hills, this fort has nine parts, each of which has different types of rooms. Every room here is called by a specific name, at the end of which the word Mahal is definitely used. Some of the most famous suites here include Dev Mahal, Uma Vilas Mahal, Hara Mahal, Chandra Mahal, French Mahal and Sheela Mahal. Here, the fare for one night stay in a normal room can be around 10 to 12 thousand and the fare for staying in suites can be around 30 to 40 thousand.
Lakshmi Niwas Palace Bharatpur,
Lakshmi Niwas Palace located in Bharatpur is a true testament to the architecture, grandeur and splendor of Rajasthan. This palace is a wonderful blend of Mughal and Rajput architectural styles, which was built for Raja Raghunath Singh of Bharatpur in 1875. Lakshmi Vilas Palace Heritage Hotel was converted from a palace to a hotel in the year 1994. Located just 1 kilometer away from Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, this premium heritage hotel has 75 rooms divided into two categories of Classic Rooms and Royal Suites. Lakshmi Vilas Palace is a magnificent heritage experience that captivates tourists with its architecture, paintings, expansive gardens and natural beauty. Lalgarh Palace Heritage Hotel Bikaner,
One of the most spectacular heritage hotels in Rajasthan, Lalgarh Palace Heritage Hotel is a magnificent example of intricate Mughal and Rajput architecture. This palace was built in the year 1902 by Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner in the memory of his father Maharaja Lal Singh with delicate stone carvings and red sandstone. This palace has been designed in such a way that the rich culture and heritage of Rajasthan is visible in its front part, while the domes and windows in its back part show the skilled and amazing workmanship of the local artisans. This blend of Rajput, Mughal and European architectural styles was initially used as a hunting lodge for the Maharaja and his guests, but was later converted into a palace and used as the residence of the royal family. In the year 1940, this palace was converted into a hotel and opened for guests. Lalgarh Palace Heritage Hotel has around 58 rooms with prices starting from Rs 6000 to Rs 50000 per night.
Nahargarh Ranthambore Heritage Hotel Ranthambore,
Nestled in the Aravalli Hills, Nahargarh Ranthambore is a luxurious heritage hotel in Rajasthan that stands as a lasting testament to the rich cultural heritage of the region. From its high walls tourists can see the breathtaking beauty of the forests surrounding Ranthambore. The fort was built in the year 1734 by the founder of Jaipur, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, along with the Amer and Jaigarh forts as a part of the city’s security arrangements. The original name of the fort was Sudarshangarh, but it was later renamed Nahargarh Fort, which means ‘abode of tigers’. One of the most loved heritage hotels of Rajasthan, Samode Haveli is located in the heart of Jaipur city. This mansion was built about one hundred and fifty years ago by Rawal Sheo Singhji, who was a member of the royal family of Samod and the Prime Minister in the Jaipur court. This amazing building, which has a rich history of several hundred years, has been built with a unique blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture. Surrounded by huge gardens and Aravali hills, this mansion was converted into a heritage hotel in the year 1988.
