Mumbai: The BSE Sensex jumped 353.74 points to 78,874.04 in early trade on Tuesday. The NSE Nifty gained 93.40 points to 24,458.25. Crude Oil prices declined today, reversing sharp gains from the previous session, as expectations of imminent US-Iran peace talks eased concerns over prolonged supply disruptions from the Middle East.
IIFL Securities said Derivatives data and price set up suggests, Nifty has to continue to hold above 24300 zones for an up move towards 24500 then 24700 zones while supports can be seen at 24250 then 24100 zones. Bank Nifty has to continue to hold above 56500 zones for an up move towards 57000 then 57500 levels while on the downside support is seen at 56250 then 56000 level.
The dollar index hovered around 98 on Tuesday following a prior session decline, as optimism over a potential US-Iran peace agreement reduced safe-haven demand.
