At the same time, the BJP is constantly targeting the Bengal government on this matter. Meanwhile, party MP Soumitra Khan has demanded that the Standing Committee of Home Affairs visit West Bengal.

Saumitra Khan has written a letter to Dr. Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee of Home Affairs that the committee should soon visit the state to take stock of the ground situation. He wrote in the letter, ‘I request to draw attention and take action in relation to the recent serious concerns that emerged from Murshidabad in West Bengal, especially the local Hindu community affecting the local Hindu community’.

The MP said that the Standing Committee should immediately visit the ground reality regarding the harassment reports and allegations received by the people in the area. He said that a delegation of the committee should go to Murshidabad to review so that the reality there can be ascertained. He said that the committee should also call the state’s Director General of Police and SP of Murshidabad so that a detailed report can be taken about the investigation done so far.

Khan said that the state police should be asked why Hindus are being tortured repeatedly in the state. He said that such a tour will help in finding the truth behind the claims and will ensure that justice and transparency remains. He said ‘

Agencies engaged in investigating violence in Murshidabad

At the same time, agencies have started investigating the violence in Murshidabad. According to the sources of the agencies, this violence was being planned for a long time. For the last 3 months, the people of the area were planning to carry out the incident. For this, funding was done from abroad. Violence continues from April 10 to protest against the Waqf law in the district. Around 300 personnel of Border Security Force (BSF) are deployed here and the Center has also deployed five additional companies of central forces to help restore the system.
