The season of Ishan Kishan, who is leading Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2026, is going through ups and downs. Like his team, Ishaan’s own performance has sometimes been explosive and sometimes lagging. But in this season so far, Ishan Kishan had to see his worst day against Chennai Super Kings, where he could not even open the account and the reason for this was the bowler, who was playing his first match in this season.

But after this, Mukesh made a brilliant comeback and dismissed Head on the 5th ball.
Then Sunrisers captain Ishan Kishan came to the crease but he could not last even for a minute. Ishaan, playing his very first ball, gave an easy catch straight into the hands of the mid-off fielder. In this way he was out on a ‘golden duck’. This was the first time in this season when he could not open the account.
Mukesh is Kaal for Ishaan
The most special aspect of this wicket was Mukesh Chaudhary. Actually, this was only the third time in IPL when Mukesh and Ishaan were facing each other and all three times this bowler won. Overall, Ishaan has faced 7 balls against Mukesh in IPL, in which he has been able to score only 6 runs, while being out 3 times. In this too, Mukesh has dismissed him twice for a golden duck. However, Mukesh could not complete his hat-trick because he did not get an over again in this match.
