A major incident took place in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh on the first day of the new year. A sports businessman named Sunil Sharma was shot dead by unknown miscreants in broad daylight. After committing the crime the miscreants fled. People hurriedly admitted Sunil Sharma to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. There is anger among the traders after this incident of murder. The police is trying to pacify the traders.
Let us tell you that on the first day of the new year, a sports businessman named Sunil Sharma along with some other people was standing in the sun outside his shop in MIT College Market located on Delhi-Dehradun Highway. Meanwhile, suddenly an unknown sharp shooter fired a bullet from the flyover, which hit sports businessman Sunil Sharma standing below. Before people could understand anything, the killers present on the flyover fled from there. People hurriedly admitted the injured businessman to Subharti Medical College on the highway, where doctors declared him dead.
Were standing outside the shop when the miscreants opened fire
After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigation. Regarding the murder, SP Dehat Kamlesh Bahadur told that there is a sports businessman named Sunil Sharma. On the first day of the new year, he was standing in the sun outside his shop. Then suddenly he was hit by a bullet. The people present there hurriedly admitted Sunil to Subharti Hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.
Police searching for CCTV footage of the incident
Eyewitnesses said that the shooter was on top of the flyover. How many people were there is not known. The police team is investigating whether the killers wanted to shoot at Sunil or someone else. Police said that CCTV footage is also being investigated.
