Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [भारत]July 23 (ANI): Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker JCD Prabhakar arrived at Satyam Theater in Chennai on Thursday. Here he watched Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay’s new film ‘Jana Nayakan’.
This visit of the speaker has come at a time when Vijay’s fans are celebrating on a large scale across Tamil Nadu after the release of the film.
After a long wait and several delays, C Joseph Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayakan’ has finally released in theatres. There is a huge craze about ‘Jana Nayakan’ and fans are gathering in theaters across the state for the morning show. Vijay’s fans have also put up posters of ‘Jana Nayakan’ and big cut-outs of the actor-politician at many places.
Actor Jai thanked the fans
Tamil actor Jai addressed the fans and thanked them for their unwavering support. Speaking to the media, Jai said, “After overcoming many hurdles and opposition, ‘Jana Nayakan’ is scheduled to release tomorrow. Even if the film releases on mobile platforms, Thalapathy Vijay’s fans will watch it only in theatres. Like ‘I’m Waiting’, you all have waited patiently for this moment, and I thank you for your unwavering support.”
Earlier this month, CM and actor Vijay had announced the new release date of the film in an official Instagram post and also released a new poster of the film, confirming that ‘Jana Nayakan’ will release in theaters on July 23.

Directed by H Vinoth, ‘Jana Nayakan’ also stars Vijay along with Mamita Baiju, Pooja Hegde, Prakash Raj, Bobby Deol, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priyamani and Narayan. The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography is by Satyan Suryan, editing is by Pradeep E Raghav and production design is by V Selvakumar. (ANI)
