Mexico City: Asian giant South Korea has started with a win in the Group A match of the FIFA World Cup. In a thrilling match, Korea defeated Czech Republic 2-1. All three goals of the match were scored in the second half. Czech Republic took the lead first, but Korea made a great comeback by scoring two goals. Hwang In-bom and Oh Hyeon-gyu scored for Korea, while Ladislav Krechny scored the only goal for the Czech team. Let us tell you that in the first match of the group, Mexico had defeated South Africa.

A Czech Republic goal was ruled offside in the 76th minute. Just four minutes later, Korea scored its winning goal. On Hwang’s cross from the right end, Oh Hyeon-gyu dodged the defender and sent the ball into the net. The ball touched the goalkeeper’s hands and crossed the goal-line.
