Smuggler ate cocaine worth Rs 11 crore to hide it… Police took it out of his stomach like this

Two surprising cases have come to light from Mumbai. In the first case, a drug smuggler has been arrested from CSMI airport. Cocaine worth Rs 11 crore has been recovered from his stomach. 74 capsules were removed through the operation. The weight of cocaine is 1108 grams. The arrested drug smuggler is a citizen of Sierra Leone. The smuggler has been sent to judicial custody.

In the second case, the Customs Department has recovered 10 kg 68 grams of gold at Mumbai Airport. The gold was being brought to Mumbai through various smuggling routes. From where it was to be delivered to different parts of the country. The value of the seized gold is said to be Rs 6 crore 30 lakh. This gold was being brought hidden in the cavities of clothes and other parts of the body including pad locks, hand bags. Police have taken departmental action against the smuggler.

74 capsules taken out from stomach, worth Rs 11 crore

Taking major action, Mumbai DRI has recovered cocaine worth Rs 11 crore. This action was taken on March 28. The team recovered cocaine from the stomach of the smuggler. The foreign drug smuggler had swallowed 74 capsules of cocaine out of fear of being caught. The smuggler was investigated on the basis of intelligence. During interrogation, he said that he had cocaine in his stomach. He had brought drugs for smuggling into India.

Weight 1108 grams, action taken against smuggler

The Sierra Leonean drug smuggler caught on March 30 was presented before the magistrate. On the orders of the court, he was admitted to JJ Hospital in Mumbai. Through operation, 74 capsules were removed from his stomach. They were all filled with cocaine. His weight was 1108 grams. At the same time, its price was estimated at Rs 11 crore. On Saturday, the foreign smuggler was seized under the NDPS Act, 1985 and sent to judicial custody.
