Slumdog: Tabu introduced as Gauri Hegde in new character glimpse

Puri Jagannadh’s upcoming film “Slumdog: 33 Temple Road” has begun its promotions by unveiling character glimpses from the film. After releasing the teaser, the makers have now unveiled a video introducing Tabu’s character, Gauri Hegde.

“Slumdog: 33 Temple Road” marks the first collaboration between Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Sethupathi, with Vijay Sethupathi playing the lead role. The film is currently in the final stages of post-production.

The character glimpse opens with police conducting searches and raiding what appears to be a gang hideout. However, the operation soon takes an unexpected turn as it is revealed to be an Income Tax raid.

Tabu makes a striking appearance as a ruthless and fearless Income Tax officer. She is introduced as Deputy Income Tax Officer Gauri Hegde, immediately establishing her character as a no-nonsense official.

The glimpse ends with Tabu sitting at her desk and looking at Vijay Sethupathi’s character. She says, “We first shoot and then talk in our old city,” before introducing herself as Gauri Hegde.

Samyuktha plays the female lead, while Duniya Brahmaji and VTV Ganesh are also part of the cast in important roles. Harshavardhan Rameshwar’s pulsating background score adds to the impact of the character glimpse.
