How many hours of sleep is necessary?
Acharya Balkrishna, co-founder and managing director of Patanjali Ayurveda, says that if you sleep less than 6 hours, then you should understand that you have some disease. At the same time, if you sleep more than 8 hours then understand that something is definitely wrong. That is, simply put, according to Ayurveda, you should sleep for at least 6 hours and maximum 8 hours. Getting this much sleep is enough for your health. You can decide the sleeping hours according to your schedule.
Quality of sleep is also important
Balkrishna says that sleeping only for 6 or 8 hours is not enough. Rather, how well and deeply you are sleeping also matters. That means, attention should also be paid to the quality of sleep. According to Ayurveda, a person sleeping in deep sleep has happiness, affirmation, sharpness, strength and virility. Vigor, radiance, knowledge and age also increase in such people.
When is it better to sleep?
What time to sleep is also equally important. Because sleeping at the wrong time can affect the quality of sleep. In such a situation, Acharya Balkrishna tells that you should sleep at 10 o’clock at night. Because sleep between 10 pm to 4 am is considered best for the body. With this, 6 hours of sleep will be completed comfortably and you can start your day by waking up at Brahma Muhurta at 4 o’clock. If you are very busy then you can sleep even at 11 o’clock. But avoid delaying for more than 1 hour.
