Sleep Internship
Wakefit has been conducting “Sleep Internships” for quite some time now, which has gained attention across the country. The company calls applicants to participate in its program for 60 days, where they have to sleep for 9 hours a day at most, take power naps and test Wakefit’s new mattresses. Previously, the winner was selected from a much larger pool of 5 lakh applicants who were vying for a place in the Wakefit Sleep Internship. After that, he or she had to compete with 11 other shortlisted participants – all of whom were given a stipend of Rs 1 lakh.
Saishwari became champion
During the 2-month long program, these sleep interns logged a total of 7,000 hours of sleep. The competition reached its peak with a live “Sleep-Off”, where the top four finalists slept in custom sleep pods, competing for the ultimate prize. And Saishwari won with a remarkable sleep efficiency score of 99%, earning her the position of top sleeper of the season.
