Skoda Slavia Facelift 2026 Launch Soon: Check New Features, Design Updates and Expected Price

Skoda Slavia facelift is expected to launch in India by mid-August 2026 likely just after Independence Day, bringing a redesigned front end, a new cabin theme as well as an 8-speed automatic gearbox replacing the current 6-speed unit. Test mules have already revealed most of these changes on Indian roads, so this isn’t pure speculation though Skoda hasn’t confirmed pricing or an exact date yet. This matters for buyers currently considering a Slavia since waiting a few more weeks could mean a longer feature list but also a higher price than today’s Rs 10 lakh to Rs 19.12 lakh range. Here’s what’s expected to change and what stays the same under the skin.

What’s New Outside?

Most visible changes land at the front with a larger, newly designed grille and a sportier bumper expected. The headlamp housing stays the same shape but gets revised internals and new LED daytime running lights (DRLs). At the rear, expect new LED taillamps, illuminated Skoda lettering on the tailgate and an updated bumper along with new 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels replacing the current design.

What Changes Inside?

The dashboard layout carries over but with a new cabin theme and revised upholstery. A larger 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster is expected to replace the current unit and rear passengers may get a massage function for the first time on this model. Level 2 ADAS and a panoramic sunroof have both been speculated though there’s a real chance neither makes it, since the related  launched without either feature.

Same Engines, New Gearbox?

Mechanically,   is expected to carry over both existing engines: the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol making 150 bhp and 250 Nm and the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol producing 115 bhp and 178 Nm. The bigger change is expected on the automatic side where the current 6-speed torque converter is likely to be replaced by a new 8-speed unit while the manual and DCT options are expected to continue unchanged. Buyers should treat all of this as likely rather than confirmed until Skoda’s official announcement closer to launch.
