Skoda will raise prices by up to 1.2%, capped at Rs 20,000, ahead of the updated Slavia’s price announcement on October 6
Skoda Auto India has announced two updates ahead of the festive season. Prices across its vehicle portfolio will increase from October 1, 2026, while the Slavia facelift is scheduled to launch on October 6. The in August, with production recently commencing at the company’s Chakan plant in Pune.
Skoda Price Hike Capped At Rs 20,000
The latest price revision will be up to 1.2%, depending on the model and variant, with the maximum increase capped at Rs 20,000. Skoda attributes the revision to rising input and operational costs. The changes will apply at the ex-showroom level across its India portfolio.
Skoda’s mainstream lineup currently comprises the Kylaq, Kushaq, Slavia and Kodiaq. Model-wise and variant-wise revised prices have not been detailed in the announcement. This follows an earlier price revision in 2026, which initially covered the Kylaq, Kushaq and Slavia, with the Kodiaq included subsequently.
Slavia Facelift Prices On October 6
Having already revealed the Slavia facelift in August, Skoda will announce its launch prices on October 6. Bookings are open for Rs 15,000, and .
The facelift brings revised styling, more equipment and a new automatic transmission option. It represents the sedan’s first major update since its introduction around four years ago, with changes aimed at strengthening its appeal in the midsize sedan segment.
Exterior updates include a revised grille, new LED headlamps, redesigned bumpers and updated LED tail lamps with sequential turn indicators. New 16-inch alloy wheel designs further distinguish the facelift from the outgoing model. Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige join the colour palette. Availability will vary by variant, with Cappuccino Beige deliveries scheduled to begin in December 2026, as outlined during the August unveiling.
More Features And Rear-Seat Comfort
Inside, the Slavia retains its familiar dashboard layout while receiving several equipment upgrades. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster replaces the earlier 8-inch unit, while the updated 10.1-inch infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Other additions include a 360-degree camera and a rear-seat massage function, which Skoda describes as a segment-first feature. An AI Companion powered by Google Cloud is also part of the technology update.
New 8-Speed Automatic For 1.0 TSI
The Slavia facelift continues with 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engines. The smaller engine produces 115 PS and 178 Nm, while the 1.5-litre unit delivers 150 PS and 250 Nm. The principal mechanical change is a new 8-speed torque-converter automatic transmission for the 1.0-litre TSI engine. The 1.5-litre TSI continues with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The outgoing Slavia is priced from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 18.29 lakh, ex-showroom. Whether the facelift commands a premium, and how Skoda positions its individual variants, will become clear on October 6. It will the Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Volkswagen Virtus.
