Indian captain Shubman Gill has added another feather to his illustrious hat. He has now gone past 3,000 runs in Test cricket. Gill reached the landmark on Day 1 of the 2nd Test against Sri Lanka at Sinhalese Sports Club, Colombo.
The Indian captain joined forces with Devdutt Padikkal after the visitors lost both openers in the first session.
