Special Mysore turban will be presented to PM Modi in Karnataka
Adichunchanagiri Temple: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Adichunchanagiri area located in Nagamangal taluka of Mandya district of Karnataka on Wednesday, April 15. The Prime Minister will inaugurate the grand ‘Shri Guru Bhairavaikya Temple’ built in the memory of Dr. Balgangadharnath Swamiji, the former head of this region. Later he will address the devotees. Prime Minister In view of the visit, the entire Adichunchanagiri area has been decorated like a bride.
This Bhairavaikya temple built in Dravidian style is full of many features. A huge stage has been built at the BGS Stadium for the event and more than one lakh people are expected to attend. As a precautionary measure, more than 2000 policemen have been deployed for security.
Specialty of Mysore Turban
Meanwhile, a special ‘Mysore Turban’ has been prepared for Prime Minister Modi’s visit. It was prepared by Mysore artist Nandan Singh in five days. It is designed on the lines of the turban worn by Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar and the turban is made in Banaras cloth. It has Gandhabherananda design on it. This turban will be presented to PM Modi by Nirmalanandanath Swamiji on behalf of ‘Nammur Nammaru’ Seva Sanstha.

Specialty of Sri Guru Bhairavaikya Temple
This temple, which has been under construction for the last 10 years, has been completed at a cost of approximately Rs 80 crore. This temple is situated in the place of Balgangadharnath Swamiji. The construction of this temple was the dream of Nirmalanandanath Swamiji. A mixture of sculptures from the Hoysala, Chalukya, Chola and Ganga periods can be seen in the temple. This temple built in Dravidian style is a wonderful example of architecture.
Schedule of Prime Minister Modi’s visit
- He will reach HAL airport in Bengaluru on Wednesday morning by a special flight from Delhi.
- The Prime Minister will reach Adichunchanagiri Helipad by helicopter from HAL at 10:50 am.
- The PM will reach Shrikshetra Math by road at 11 am and inaugurate the Bhairavaikya Temple.
- After this he will address the devotees in a big public program to be organized at BGS Stadium.
- After the program, the PM will return to HAL airport and from there leave for his visit to Kerala.
