The results of the assembly elections held in Maharashtra were revealed on 23rd, after the results, the winning candidates are immersed in celebration. Independent candidate Shivaji Patil has won Chandgarh assembly constituency. A fire suddenly broke out in the night during the victory celebrations that started late in the evening. In which Patil himself and some women present there got caught in the fire. The injured were sent to the hospital immediately after the incident.
Eyewitnesses said that some women participating in the procession were also injured. A video of the incident is also going viral on social media. The entire incident took place when the women were performing the Aarti of Shivaji Patil, at the same time a large quantity of gulal fell from the crane into their Aarti plates. Due to which the fire broke out. Due to which some women including Shivaji Patil got burnt.

Independent candidate Shivaji Patil was competing against NCP Ajit Pawar and NCP Sharad Pawar on the Chandgarh Assembly seat, but he won the election by 24134 votes, giving a crushing defeat to the candidates of both the parties. Rajesh Patil of Ajit Pawar’s NCP was at second position.

In this election, Mahayuti has been successful in winning 228 seats, Mahavikas Aghadi 47 and others have been successful in winning 13 seats. Shiv Sena has won 55 seats and Ajit Pawar’s NCP has won 41 seats. Maha Vikas Aghadi is in bad shape in this election.
